the amount of gaslighting and having to abandon my morals and beliefs in order to satisfy a system and being strangled by a corporate leash in order to stratify the unknowing for money and stability

I like how you did with the  game topic, the pictures were fun lol and the music is super cool too. One thing maybe you can do is to change Rolando into Messi

The game and series of meme music is especially fun! They really makes me lagugh while playing. However, I do found sometimes the texts on the screen were too much and hard to led the player focus in. It would be good to splite the texts from choices into a different pages.

very funny concept! If I could add one thing, I wish there was another ending maybe between the selling your soul to the company and then completely blowing you off- maybe a way to manipulate your employer ? (I hope my manager doesn’t see this) overall, I really enjoyed this!

I cant think of anything this game reminds me of but I definitely enjoyed the humorous tone and the music/sound effects as you progress through the interview

I haven't played much of it, but the vibes of this game remind me of Job Simulator (the VR game) where everything in various work environments is depicted in an overly sarcastic/satirical tone. The red text in this game remind me of when the voice actors in Job Simulator change their inflection for emphasis.

I think this game is directly referencing the phenomenon described as “involution”, meaning when jobs are hard to find because everyone is hardworking, so people keep trying to work harder and harder that created an unhealthy and inhumane competitive environment. The game is a comedic sarcasm to that.

I really love the music in this game (each page has its own unique soundtrack). The musical style is quite similar to that of the Xiang Yang games.I really enjoy both.

The design of the game is very 2010s meme video esc. which I think works really well with the subject (getting a job) and makes it feel absurdist!

@ellie/gloriium

Totally agree! I think it works though because the game itself feels very silly and strange (in a good way, of course). I think that if this game had a more serious vibe it would hit too hard for people LMFAOO

I love how each screen has its very own music. I feel like this added a lot of character and charm to each scene. I also like how, at the end of endings, you are able to restart from the very beginning.

I like this humorous game! The use of images and sound is really funny, especially the sound effects when I failed to be hired. I also ike the design that I have to lie all the way through to get my job lol.

Do you get the inspiration of this game from your own experience in reality?

This is such a funny game! I have to ask, was this inspired by any real life experiences from when you've applied to different jobs?

This is a very humorous game that I think a lot of us can relate to.  I think this is a good critique of modern capitalist society. Do you think  humor is a good way to formulate this argument against modern ideas of working and jobs?

I think satire works well and it is cathartic for the developer. I also like the detail of having the item do a useless task like the recorder.

The idea of making the game about a job interview is very unique and relatable as many of the players have experienced going through the interview process for jobs or internships. In the game, getting the job is pretty straight forward as everyone knows you have to lie a little bit and kiss up to the employers to get the job. Once I did one run through of getting the job, I went back to see the funny failed endings from giving back responses to the questions.

Absolutely loved how comedic this was! The picture selections were really great and really engaged with the concept. I also enjoyed how you highlighted certain parts of the text to emphasize things --> and the red text options really communicate how crazy they are to say lol - The sound effects add a lot :) I felt like I was in a real j*b interview...

I also like how it’s making you sell your soul in lies in order to get a job. Truly a real life interview simulator. 100/10 would play again

I also like that the payout is random. Success is often determined by interactions beyond reasonable control. I got $9983 once though.

I love the mix of meme-like stock photos of stressful situations during the interview questions while the cheery music plays in the background. The options for responses are great as well, where I naturally lied my whole way through the interview in order to get the job. You did a great job criticizing ideals of a capitalist system such as the pressure to focus on work rather than personal health and wellbeing. Having the player get kicked out when they tell the truth points fun at the fact that corporate jobs do not have their employees best interests in mind. Well done!
